Giveaway & Awkward Writing: One Year

One year ago I posted my first post and review. And let me tell you, that review was awful. It wasn't really detailed, and I was trying to use a catch phrase (it was awful) and I don't do it anymore (because it was awful). Over time I have learned things that don't really like, like the Blogger commenting system, the different styles on Blogger, and my old reviewing style. I've also learned things that I love, like my current reviewing style, the name I use online (yes, Anna is not my real name), and that I really love the bookish community. There are also things that I want to learn, like making headers, changing the comment system, and how to actually use social media. Everyone that I've communicated with in the bookish community is always so nice, and never disrespects (or doesn't mean to) anyone. Today a book blogger tweeted out about a very stressful and scary thing that happened to her, and there was a ton of responses of everyone asking her if she was okay and safe. That right there made me smile because there were a whole bunch of people from around the world asking one person if they were safe and okay. That's one of the reasons I love the bookish community, everyone is always (or at least almost always) nice, kind, and respectful. I know that I don't have a big blog with a big following, so thank you to everyone who reads, comments, or interacts with me on my blog. I always smile when I see that I got a comment, or that somebody liked one of my posts. And in order to say thank you, I am doing a small giveaway. It isn't much, but I wanted to do something. This is how it's going to work. If you win, I'll email you and ask for a list of books that you have been wanting and your information on where to send it. I will then choose a few books from your list and send them to you. That way it's a surprise, but you still get books that you don't have. If I don't get a response from you and it's been a while, then I'll have to give the prize to someone else. Please make sure that you leave either your email address or Twitter name so that I can contact you. Alright everybody, may the odds be ever in your favor!
