Synopsis: Four years after her twin is murdered, Juliet Anderson still struggles with guilt, her parents, and her relationships. Two things keep her from falling into a deep, dark place—dancing and her best friend, Ben. So when Ben decides to play football for New Jersey University, Juliet doesn’t hesitate. She follows. Finally away from her past, there is nothing to stand in the way. Juliet will win Ben's heart.

Then she meets Ben's roommate, Chase.

On probation and hell-bent on adhering to a “new life plan,” aspiring artist Chase leaves his New York City home for New Jersey University and meets Juliet before even stepping foot on campus. For him, their connection is instant. She’s the most vibrant girl he's ever seen. Her colors explode on his canvas, and he's never been more inspired in his life.

Too bad she’s madly in love with his seemingly perfect, good guy roommate.

~My Review~

I have never seen a big drama, not like the usual drama on NCIS or Switched at Birth. I'm talking about soap operas (that's what I call them). The big series about the really unbelievable drama that takes place in a family, or something like that. Well, that was this book, except the drama was mostly about things that take place in real life.

In this book we mainly follow Chase, Juliet, and Ben as they navigate their first year of college. All three of them move into the bottom level of Sheridan Hall, and there is a lot of drama.

The thing that I liked most about this book is that it covers so many hard subjects like grief, stalking, murder, and a bunch of others. I thought how it was really cool how Jessica Calla was able to tie in so many real life issues, while still being able to have fun and laughable sections.

The thing to keep in mind going into this book is that it is a romance. This book is mainly about the romance. I went into this book expecting a lot of romance, and because of that I ended up really liking the book. If I hadn't gone into this book expecting a big romance book, then I probably wouldn't have liked it as much.

So, Juliet was fine. She was a pretty good character, but I just couldn't really connect with her (at all). I actually couldn't connect with any of the characters. Which was actually pretty nice because I wouldn't want to be any of them.  At all.

I do wish that we got to read more about the auras. They were introduced in this book, but we never really learned any more about it! So I'm hoping that in the next book we get to learn more about them.

Overall, I really liked this book! It deals with real world issues, has good banter, and an almost realistic love triangle! While I wish that we had seen more of the auras, I will be reading the next book.
