The Weekly Recap: Whoops? (Week of 1/21/18)

I'm linking up with Kimberly who blogs at The Caffeinated Book Reviewer for The Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a weekly meme where all us bloggers talk about out week in reading, what books we got, and what's coming up in the week ahead. I'm also linking up with Book Photo Sundays hosted by Rabbit Ears Book Blog, a weekly meme where we share our favorite photos of the week.

MY LIFE
Hello everybody! Long time no see. If you didn't know, I was almost completely absent last week, both on the blog and other social medias. Well, school work got in the way, and I needed to really work on it. So, that's life. I'm sorry for not commenting back, but I think that I've responded to to everyone. Hopefully this week will be a little better, and I'll have more time to read. So, until next week, happy reading, and have an exciting week! :)

CURRENTLY READING
I'm not technically reading anything right now, but I have a couple books that I want to pick up.

WHAT I READ
Nothing :(

BOOKS I HAVE ACQUIRED
My thanks to India R. Adams for a copy of this one! I'm super excited to get into it. :D

WHAT'S HAPPENING THIS WEEK?
I'm really hoping to get my post on why we don't see more chronically ill MCs in literature written and posted this week! So, hopefully it happens. :)

SONG OF THE WEEK
If you didn't know, I am a big Legend of Zelda nerd. So, here is one of my favorite remixes. :)

QUESTION OF THE WEEK
How often do you make discussion posts? Let me know in the comments. :)

  1. Discussion posts are kinda hit or miss with me. I like doing them and I've recently gotten back into them- I guess it depends on if I have good ideas for a post or not lol. I love a good discussion post though. :)

River looks fun. I bet it looks good as a physical copy too, with that cool cover.

    1. Ya, same for me. Sometimes I have a lot of ideas, and other times I don't. Thanks for stopping by. :)

  2. I do discussion posts when I feel like it. I kind of want to have a more or less original idea, though, and that doesn't happen as often as I'd like. I love reading discussion posts, so I wish I was able to come up with more content for my own!
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

  3. I've also been very absent... Maybe it's a winter thing? It's just so hard to follow through with everything. Especially when there's no natural light and you're just exhausted al the time.

I love your insta pic :)

  4. I don't generally write discussion posts unless it is connected to books - and even then, not very often:). I hope you have a good week, with a bit more time to read, maybe...

  5. I'm horrible about discussion posts. A topic may pop into my head but when I sit down to type it... nothing. That or I'm blabbering on and on about nothing. LoL So, they are pretty hit or miss for me. I love reading them though.

  7. I'm usually pretty bad at discussion posts. I was trying to make it a goal to have a discussion post every week or so, but I'm always distracted by other things! I hope I get better at it soon!

    Here’s my Sunday Post!

  9. Oh dear - absent for a week - I've been pretty absent for the better part of two months! Hence why you're only getting your comment back SOOOO late (SORRY!!!!!!!!!!).

I haven't done discussion posts in a while... I keep thinking I should do more but I do do the Blog Squad posts but we've been on hiatus for a little while.

Hope you have had a great week this week!

    1. I can't believe that you're returning comments! I'm horrible about that if I let them go for too long. I eventually just give up, lol.
