The Weekly Recap: Back To School? NO NO NO NO NO (Week of 1/1/17)

Happy Sunday! I'm linking up to The Sunday Post, hosted by The Caffienated Book Reviewer; Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews; and Book Photo Sundays, hosted by Rabbit Ears Book Blog.

-MY LIFE-
Hello everyone! This was a fabulous week. What did I do? Absolutely nothing. I just lounged around my house, in my sweatpants, reading. I read four books this week, and I'm currently three books ahead on my Goodread's Reading Challenge! Ya, that's right. I'm ahead. It's nice to see those words because I was behind most of last year. I don't expect those words to stay there for very long though considering that school is starting up again on Monday. One of my classes is absolutely kicking my ass, and taking up a ton of my time. I wanted to start another class this semester, but I'm not so sure considering the amount of time I spend on that single class. So, I guess that we'll see. Oh, and I just hit 200 followers on Instagram! This is surprising considering that I only started in August of last year, but I'm really happy about that! I'm attempting to post every single day this year, so hopefully I can do that! Have a good week, and happy reading everyone! :)

  1. Wow! You lucky girl! What a nice set of books you got! I had to buy my own and I'm still waiting for A court of thorns and roses and Of mist and fury. I'm glad to see you have Assassins blade because that is an important book that can't be overlooked imo. I like the cover of Blackheath which I had never seen before until now. Happy New Year!

    1. Ya, I've read up to Empire of Storms, but kept forgetting to read Assassin's Blade. So every time I got to a certain part I would wish that I had read the novellas! So, now I can. :)

  7. Ooh congrats on being ahead on your reading challenge! I'm hoping that before I start classes again on the 17th I'll be ahead in my reading challenge as well, because I know I never get much reading done when classes are happening. Wow, you got all of SJM's books for Christmas! That's cool. I've only read ACOTAR and I was a little so-so on it, but I hope you enjoy all of them!!

  9. Oh I love those lazy weeks. It's summer here so I would be doing the equivalent (just in shorts and singlet) if I could but I started back at work last week... though I can't complain as it was only a 2 day week for me, so....

  12. Nice job on acquiring all of those Maas books! I like the coloring book. :D I headed back to uni last week, though not for winter classes! Spring semester starts at the end of the month, but I'm studying for an exam I'm taking in between. I lazed around for the holiday week and then it was back to school and work. -_- I hope you enjoy all of your new books!

Have a fabulous week, Anna. :)

  13. I hope your class goes well! I start back on the 18th and it's my first graphic design class so I am a bit nervous. :) I think someone must like Sarah J. Maas maybe just a tiny bit....lol. :)

    1. I actually ended up switching to a different class. I just don't have the time to fully commit to it right now. I'm not sad about it, sometimes it's best to switch. I've learned that sometimes you just need to be flexible. :)
