It was nice to end 2016 strong by reading 11 books in December, bringing my 2016 total to 86 books. While it isn't the 100 I was hoping for, I'm happy with my 86 books. Plus it's more than I read last year, so that's good. My 2017 goal is 100, and maybe I'll make it this year.

-FAVORITE BOOK OF THE MONTH-
The Midnight Sea (The Fourth Element, #1)

-ANNA'S READING LIST-
Anna's Reading List is a list I make each month with books that are convenient for me to pick up when I'm feeling lazy. I may read all the books on the list, and I may not read a single one. The point is to give me options to read, not to read all of the books.  For me, my list has to have at least one of each of the following:
  • e-book and/or book received for review
  • library book
  • book that counts towards a challenge I'm participating in

The Ugly Teapot: Book One: Hannah10 Things I Can See from HereFallen Too Far (Rosemary Beach, #1; Too Far, #1)Something (Wisteria 1)Rain (A Stranger in the Woods, #1)Rhodi Rising (Rhodi Saga #2)Saven Deception (Saven #1)The Bone Witch (The Bone Witch, #1)

  1. wow I wish I could do a poster with these covers! Especially The Midnight Sea. I added it to GR, since it was your favorite. It sounds good! I don't think I have ever read a book about necromancy

  2. What a great reading month you had! This series looks intriguing and the covers are fabulous!. I would like to add it to my TBR - but I've just had a bit of a NetGalley binge - and been accepted for every book I requested, so I need to be Mrs Sensible, not easy when books are concerned! I think 86 books are very creditable when you have so much else on your plate - best of luck with reaching your 100 book target in 2017, though it is more about quality than quantity, isn't it?

    1. Exactly! Last year I had a couple big reading slumps, so this year I'm going to avoid them at all costs! :)

  3. You read so many books! Woohoo!! Did you enjoy Glass Sword? I really need to read it, but I've heard mixed thoughts so I'm afraid I won't like it :(((( Also, what about Freeks? That one sounds interesting. And holy cow, those Kat Ross books have beautiful covers and now I must go investigate them on Goodreads.

    1. I liked Glass Sword, and I don't understand why a lot of people didn't like it! It was a good second book in my opinion. Freeks is about a traveling circus and the creepiness is fabulous. :)
