The Weekly Recap: Let's Talk About Comments (Week of 10/30/16)

Happy Sunday! I'm linking up to The Sunday Post, hosted by The Caffienated Book Reviewer; Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews; and Book Photo Sundays, hosted by Rabbit Ears Book Blog.

-MY LIFE-
We need to talk. I last minuet joined NaNoWriMo, and it's taking up most of my free time. So, this month I'm trying to write a 50,000 word novel, do school, read, blog, and respond and visit blogs. That's a lot! So, I'm telling you all right now that I'm not going to be as proactive about my comments this month. I will be responding and everything, but it might take me longer to respond than usual. But keep in mind, I'm writing a fucking book!

Other than that, life has been busy! I haven't had a lot of time to read, so tonight I'm going to take a couple hours to just read, and I'm really excited! Have a fabulous week everyone!

  1. Good luck with NaNo! I kinda wish I was doing it this year but time- wise it just wasn't going to happen. I hope everyone hits their 50k though! And hope you like Summer Days and Summer Nights-I liked some of the stories and others not so much, but that's about typical for me with an anthology. :)

  6. I always love your book photos. I have not ever joined NaNo because I am from the school of thinking that you should never force yourself to write. I like seeing everyone else's progress, but I see more people getting frustrated and mad at themselves than being inspired, so my opiniion on NaNo as a whole is not very high. Ha ha. Good luck and have a fantastic week. :)

    1. Thanks! I'm not really using NaNo trying to write 50,000 words in a month. I'm using it more as a way to motivate me to write everyday. Whether it be five words, or 7,000.

  7. Good luck with NaNo! I hope you manage to find the time and motivation to write amongst life in general. :)

I love the look of the cover for Rain - so much so that I am checking it out on GR - but HOW MANY PAGES IS IT???? Eep, I'm not sure I have the time to add nearly a 1400 page book to my TBR right now. I think I'll wait to see your review! :)

    Have a great week!

    1. I don't think that it's 1400 pages! It says that it's only 359 pages on Amazon, so that's the one I would use. Goodreads page counts can get wacky, but Amazon's page counts are usually accurate. Hope you enjoy it! :)

  8. Fingers crossed with the NaNo - and I think using it as a spur to motivate yourself than trying to kill yourself with that 50,000 target is a far smarter objective. Hope you have a great writing and reading week!

  9. Good luck with that novel!! And yeah, sometimes you have to prioritize - there's just not enough hours in the day to get everything done!
