The Weekly Recap: SAVE THE FISH! (Week of 2/26/17)

Happy Sunday! I'm linking up to The Sunday Post, hosted by The Caffienated Book Reviewer; Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews; and Book Photo Sundays, hosted by Rabbit Ears Book Blog.

-MY LIFE-
Well, I fucked up. If you didn't know, I have a bit of a beta fish obsession. I thought that I was keeping good care of them, then I was told that they needed heaters. WHY WAS I NOT TOLD THIS INFORMATION, I DON'T KNOW, WHEN I BOUGHT THE FUCKING FISH. I'm not upset that I need to buy heaters, I upset that I wasn't told this sooner. So, I bought one heater, and I'm seeing how it works and testing it out. Then I'll hopefully be buying the rest of the heaters that I need. Hopefully my fish will be okay until then. :(

As you might have noticed, I changed the picture for The Weekly Recap! It was time, and I loved this photo that I took for bookstagram, so I decided to use it. This week is supposed to be a little less busy, so hopefully I'll have more time to read. I bought a pack of sharpies, so now I have new pens to draw on myself with which is exciting. That's it for me, everyone. Until next week, happy reading! :)

-QUESTION OF THE WEEK-
In one of my pictures this week I talked about how I was wearing banana pants. So, do you have any wack pants? Let me know in the comments! :)

  1. Sorry about the fish - it's something a blow to suddenly realise you need to add a heater that will entail entra expense and hassle. I'll be interested to see what you make of Heart Born - I was checking it out on Netgalley last night. I hope you have a great week. 1. I was attracted by the cover, and I didn't think that I would actually get approved. So, now I have another RFR book to read. :)

  3. I wonder why you weren't told about the heater thing when you bought the fish, too. That's not good!

*sighs* one day, we'll both have much more time to read, and less time to study, and all will be well in the world.

Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

    1. Ya, it just sucks that I wasn't told. :( This is also taking up some of my reading time until I can figure it out, so, less reading time for me. :(

  4. Great pix...and I love the socks.

I hate not having all the information I need! Good luck, and hopefully it will all work out.

Thanks for sharing...and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

    1. Thank you! I was expecting Scythe to be really good, but it's actually pretty boring. :(

  6. I love your new weekly photo! It's so beautiful! The only wacky pants I wear is a white pair of Mickey Mouse pajamas that I enjoy wearing whenever I'm at home.

  7. Yeah telling you about the heater AT THE TIME might have been helpful. Did they all survive in the meanwhile? I hope so. Silly fish- what do they need heat for? lol

Revelation is a pretty amazing cover! And Heart Born isn't bad either.

    1. I know! They both have beautiful covers. :)

Without the heater their metabolism slows down, and they are prone to disease, but it's not like they are going to die right away without one. But still, they should have one sooner rather than later. :(

  8. That was a bad pet store if they sold you fish that needed heaters and then didn't tell you. Hope you can get them all warmed up before anything bad happens. Have a great week and enjoy your books! :)

  9. ok keeping my fingers crossed for your beta fishes:)
I love your bookstagram! Though I'm not always good at staying on top of it and commenting. I have Revelation. I should get to it soon so we can chat about it. I almost requested Heart Born [I'm a sucker for covers with wings] but I'm trying to curve my NetGalley Addiction. Hope you enjoy it :)
