The Weekly Recap: Hello! (Week of 3/26/17)

Happy Sunday! I'm linking up to The Sunday Post, hosted by The Caffienated Book Reviewer; Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews; and Book Photo Sundays, hosted by Rabbit Ears Book Blog.

-MY LIFE-
Well, it's been a week. So, I didn't have a recap post up last week, and I was pretty absent on the blog this week. Well, I was sick, and it wasn't the cold, or flu, or anything like that. But first, some backstory. Almost a year ago I had to go on the awful medicine, and it had some pretty bad side effects. It took me a long time to get off of it, and I swore that I would never go on it again. Well, surprise! My infusions have only been lasting me one week out of the four, which is a big problem. So, the doctor is going to be upping the dose. But, I can't have another infusion for another four weeks. So, she put me on the medicine that shall not be named to hold my body over. It's so strong that taking the medicine for five days will hold me over for two weeks. I'm told that I will not see any side effects, but I'm not quite sure about that yet... I'm watching you body, I'm watching.

This week is spring break! So, my energy is going to be going into reading and a new blog design! So, that's exciting! I'm also going to be starting over on the comments. Starting on this post, I will be responding and visiting the blogs of those who comment. I really need to get back into that habit, so hopefully that will help. Well, I guess that's it for me. Have a good week, and happy reading! :)

-INSTAGRAM PIC OF THE WEEK-

Hello everyone! I'm going to be busy tonight. I need to finish up some work for tomorrow, do a water change for Mouse, and hopefully get to sleep at a reasonable hour. So, wish me luck! Another book sea photo! I actually really liked taking these! I hadn't done any photos like this in a while, so it was cool to get a couple of really easy photos. What I did was I made a book sea (basically just a bunch of books spewed out on something), wrapped a book in lights, placed it in the center, and took the photo. It's a fast way to get a lot of photos, though it does tend to destroy your bookshelves.... What's you favorite way to take lots of photos in a short period of time? 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖 #bookstagram #books #epicreads #booklover #booklight #bookblogger #booksea #booknerd #bookworm #booklion #bookdragon #bookphotography #yareviewer #yalit #yaliterature #yablogger #yabooks #youngadultbooks #youngadultfiction #ireadya #yafiction #instabook #bookgram #photography #blogger

    1. I'm not really sure about what Done Dirt Cheap is about based on the synopsis, so I'm hoping that it's as good as the cover. :)

  2. I'm sorry you haven't been feeling well! I hope you won't get any side-effects and will feel ok now :)

You have some fantastic books there, though. American Streets has a great cover, and it intrigued me enough that I want to check it out, too.

Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading, Anna :)

  3. Keeping my fingers crossed that this time around the medication doesn't bite back and I very much hope you feel a LOT better very soon. Sanctum has the look of 'Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children' and I'm looking forward to reading what you make of it. In the meantime, I hope you have a great reading and blogging week. 4. Oh, I can empathize with you about meds that give unpleasant side effects...I went through that last year, but now have a new doctor and I'm back on the meds that work for me.

    Feel better!

I'm curious about American Street. Enjoy your week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
